Supt. Pastor Harvey Burnett 

Pastor Harvey Burnett is a husband of nearly 34 years, father of 2 children, and an ordained minister of nearly 32 years. He currently serves as the pastor of the New Bethel COGIC, Peoria, IL. a church which he also founded. He serves COGIC in an appointed position as the District Supt. of the T.T. Rose District in Illinois 3rd Jurisdiction COGIC (Chicago Heights, IL.). His undergraduate studies include those at Valdosta State University, Valdosta, GA. where he majored in the field of Medical Technology, and additional undergraduate studies in the Bachelor's Of Ministry Curriculum at Master's International School Of Divinity, Oberlin, IN.  

Among many of his other accomplishments Pastor Burnett is also a Certified Valuing Diversity trainer/facilitator (The PACE Group)  and an expert in victim's advocacy issues. He is also a licensed insurance professional, and a community advocate in both crime and violence, education and student and child mentoring.

Pastor Burnett has dedicated his time and resource to addressing the impact and issues associated with church related abuse and clergy sexual abuse and misconduct specifically as it pertains to victims well-being, acceptance and personal growth within the Christian church and community.
